In two-way communication process both the sender and the receiver of message can communicate with each other and the sender finds opportunities to study the reaction of his message on the receiver. The word two-way communication points to the flow of information in two defections back and forth. In two-way communication, a sender (usually a boss) transmits a message to the intended receiver (subordinates) and the receiver sends back his feedback (reply or reaction) to the original sender. Face-to-face discussion or telephone conversation are common examples of two-way communication. Reciprocal communication between management and subordinates or between supervision and workers belong to this category of communication.
In fine, we can say that when the communication channel allows the flow of information or facts in two directions— forward and backward it is called two-way communication. Two-way communication completes the communication circuit, first- the message flows from the sender to the receiver and then back to the sender again with response or reaction of the receiver.
