Many businesses will use social media as a way to market and promote their products. Also, customer to business (B2C) websites includes social elements such as comment fields for users.

Businesses also use social media marketing to target their customers directly to their phones and computers, build a loyal fan base, and create a culture behind their own brand.

Facebook is the largest social media platform in the world, with obvious advantages over other social media, although it has a similar audience to others like Twitter and Instagram.
